Queen is a British rock band that was made in the 1970s. There were different roles/instruments each person had. Freddie Mercury was a British songwriter and singer and musician who achieved the top of USA, and British charts in the ’80s and 90’s His roles were to lead vocals and play the piano, the band “Queen” used to be named “Smile” and motivated their band to experiment/test with more complex stage and recording techniques. He met the group in 1970 and suggested the name “Queen” "Queen" made the song bohemian rhapsody. Freddie Mercury was a student at Ealing art college who was starting a few thoughts/ideas for a song scribbled on scraps of paper. The guitarist in Queen Brian May remembered the magnificent singer and songwriter giving them a little peek in the ’70s of the absolute masterpiece Mr. May at one time called the song, “The Cowboy Song” probably because of the line “Mama… Just killed a man” There is even more meaning to this song. The intro “Is this real life?” - “Nothing Matters to me - to me” This line refers to Freddie that had a mixture of feelings, confusion, and happiness. Roger Taylor played the drums and was supportive when Freddie Mercury was down on some days. It shows that Freddie is depressed on some days and happy on some days, he expresses the sad chunks of the song and the happy parts of the song because Freddie does love demonstrating his feelings with music. John Deacon was the bassist that played the bass guitar and always added that extra touch that made every song perfect. John Deacon was also always there for the group whenever they were going through some sort of sadness/depression no matter what. Freddie Mercury is very enthusiastic and dedicated when it comes to the fantastic art of music. He always had his group to count on to make Freddie Mercury have a good mood and keep being motivated. Most of the band's idea is from Freddie mercury since he is the leader and creator of Queen. Everyone was amazed by the capability of the band's music that was produced. In 1975, the masterpiece was created in  Rockfield Studio 1 near Monmouth, and South Wales. Bohemian Rhapsody was born and it went flying through the charts. The band Queen couldn’t have been happier. They had so much passion that all group members wanted to continue making their masterpieces with all of their emotion and passion. Queen has won many awards. In 1976, Queen won their first award which was for their song “Bohemian Rhapsody” the award was the “Best Selling British Record”.  In 1977, they won their second award from Bohemian Rhapsody which was for “British Single Of The Year” In 1981. In 1982,  Queen  was nominated for their greatest hits, the award they were nominated for was called the “British Album Of The Year” Queen was nominated for their fourth and fifth award which was for their song “Flash” and “Another One Bites The Dust” Flash was nominated for the “Best Film Song, Theme Or Score” Another One Bites The Dust was nominated for the “International Hit Of The Year” Queen’s Fifth and sixth  award was in 1985 for their song “The Works” It was nominated for “British Album Of The Year” In the same Queen was nominated for “British Group” In Queen’s ninth award in 1987  was for their hit song “Themselves” They won the “Outstanding Contribution To British  Music” In 1990, Queen Was nominated for the “British Video Of The Year” for their hit song “The Invisible Man” In the same year, In 1992, Queen won their eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth award for their song “These Are The Days Of Our Lives” and “The Show Must Go On” They won the award “Best Selling A-Side” for the song called “These Are The Days Of Our Lives” the other song called “The Show Must Go On” Was nominated for the award called “Best Song Musically And Lyrically” “These Are The Days Of Our Lives” Won the “British Single Of The Year” Queen  was nominated for the “British Group” Award. All in the same year 1992,  Freddie Mercury won the “Outstanding Contribution To Music” award. In 2005, Queen was nominated for “British Song Of 25 Years” from their song “We Are The Champions” In 2005, Queen won the “Outstanding Song Collection” award from their song “Themselves” In 2019, Queen was nominated for the “Top Rock Artist” award for their song “Themselves” Queen won another award in 2019. They were nominated for the “Top Soundtrack” from the” Bohemian Rhapsody: The Original Soundtrack.  Even though the band was discontinued after Freddie Mercury died, they still received awards. Bohemian Rhapsody went into depth about Freddie Mercury’s life, it was a mix of happiness and depression. Freddie wanted to express his feelings that were locked up in a box for years and he let it out to make an absolute MASTERPIECE!
