Air pollution is like vaping because they both cause death and are both very harmful to humans. Air pollution did not have a huge impact, but now it has a huge impact. With the increased use of fossil fuels, oils, and coal, air pollution affects millions of people around the world every year. Examples are in California and Mexico City. Not only does it affect people but it also has terrible effects on the environment. The cause of air pollution, the disease it causes, and the effects it has on life, are a problem worldwide.

Commencing with, the source or cause of pollution usually comes from smoke, gas, and things that are burned. For example, in the article, “Polluting The Brain”, it states that “They come from many sources. Power plants, factories, homes, and cars- all spew particles.” In other words, power plants, factories, homes, and cars -which all produce either smoke, gas, or burned things- are some of the sources of pollution particles. This suggests that pollution can be caused by smoke, gas, or things that are burned. In addition, as stated in the article “What Causes Air Pollution” on the Climate Kids website, it says, “Air pollution is caused by solid and liquid particles and certain gases that are suspended in the air. These particles and gases can come from car and truck exhaust, factories dust,...volcanoes, and wildfires” To put it another way, air pollution is caused by particles and gases that are suspended in the air. They usually come from vehicles, factories, and things that produce smoke. It can be inferred that air pollution is made from solid, liquid, and gas particles coming from things that put harmful substances into the air.

Following that, some harmful diseases can come from air pollution. To illustrate this, the text states that “kids living in areas with air pollution are more likely to develop asthma than kids who live in other areas” (“Gasping For Air”). Strictly speaking, asthma is a bigger problem for kids living in polluted areas than kids who live in cleaner areas. This indicates that pollution can have a negative effect on kids and adults that live in polluted areas. Another representation is in the article it illustrates that “air pollution has various health effects. The health of susceptible and sensitive individuals can be impacted on low air pollution. Short term exposure to air pollutants is closely related to COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), cough, shortness of breath, wheezing etc” To rephrase it, even low air pollution can cause wheezing, shortness of breath, COPD, or coughing. This conveys that air pollution can cause harmful diseases, even if people are only exposed to it for a short time.

To finish with, air pollution has many consequences or effects, almost all of them negative. “Ecologically, air pollution can cause serious environmental damages to the groundwater, soil, and air. It is also a serious threat to the diversity of life” (Delphis ETAL). This quote states that air pollution is a problem for the environment and all the diversity in it. From this, the reader can conclude that air pollution has negative effects on the environment and the diversity of life. In the article, “Problem Of Air Pollution,” it says that “Air pollution takes years off people's lives. It causes a lot of pain and suffering, to both adults and children.” By way of explanation, air pollution causes death and suffering for everyone who is exposed to it. This signifies that air pollution has many consequences like death and pain for those who are exposed.

In closing, When one reflects on the source of air pollution, the disease it causes, and the consequences it has, it is clear that air pollution is a big problem for the whole world. This suggests that pollution can be caused by smoke, gas, or things that are burned. Air pollution is made from solid, liquid, and gas particles coming from things that put harmful substances into the air. Pollution can have a negative effect on kids and adults like harmful diseases, even if people are only exposed to it for a short time. It's not just people who are affected, air pollution has negative effects on the environment and the diversity of life. Air pollution has many consequences like death and pain for those who are exposed. How bad will it be in 10 years?
