For decades, Nike has been one of the most desirable and wanted sports brands in the United States. The data shows that it will be for years to come. Here is a compilation of information that proves that Nike is in the lead of other sports brands companies in production and in revenue.

Nike truly is one of the leading sports brands. Nike's overall revenue since its establishment in 1964 is 37.4 billion dollars at this point in time. In spite of the fact that Adidas was founded in 1949, it has only made 21.92 billion dollars in 2018 for overall revenue. That is about 16 billion more dollars than Adidas! It is astounding to see how much more revenue Nike has produced considering the fact that it was established almost 15 years later than Adidas.

Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have worn 60 different kinds of Nike cleats during their years of working together. Other athletes such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, LeBron James, Odell Beckham Jr, Kevin Durant, Mike Trout, and others bring in money for Nike as well.  Nike spends more money than any other company on endorsements and sponsorships. Nike spends around 6 billion dollars per year on athlete sponsorships. Through and through, Nike is one of top companies of the United States and shall hopefully stay that way for years. Nike teaches a powerful lesson. It teaches that with years of determination and an unwavering firmness in a belief of what is right, a person can do anything if they put their mind to it. Nike is a likable and preferred brand by buyers compared to other brands. Athletes such as Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, and Tiger Woods have not only brought in money for Nike but also made money for themselves. This is a good representation that Nike is a benefactor for the athletes, the consumers, and the brand itself.
