Harriet Tubman was one of the many historical figures that have impacted us during our period of life. This short essay I am supposed to pick an important historical figure and talk about what they did to make an impact during their life. The reason that I picked Harriet Tubman is In my opinion she was one of the most important people during this time period that you could look at as an historical figure. She did alot and fought for what she thought was right which is why she is so important.Harriet Tubman was a very powerful lady and was a huge part of society. Today’s essay is supposed to be about a picky person and telling how they pay for society. I chose Harriet Tubman just because she’s one of the ladies that affect society and growing up with her a lot about how she helped us back in the days when her name is still very much alive and present time. Harriet Tubman was more in the slave life what that being said she didn’t while she had a birthday but her birthday wasn’t never documented. One of the main reasons is Harriet Tubman was so important and now I’m back in the days. Now it’s because of the many jobs she had. She was a nurse during the Civil War she was in a public activist and she also set slaves free which is one of the main ones she was known for.

Let’s talk more about her life Harriet Tubman was one of many kids she grew she was Born into slavery. As I mentioned before there’s no extra date for Harriet’s birthday because back then slaves weren’t documented. Harriet later than her kids. I read upon document that I found on Google that there isn’t an exact date if Harriet’s birthday because slaves wasn’t important enough to get documented is what I read on this website I found. She also had an adopted daughter which I don’t know if it's true or not I just saw. that upon this website I scanned across. I also remember as I was a little watching documentaries about Harriet tell me that her family was sold so different slave owners so at a young age she got separated from her family.

Let's talk about more about the different types of job she had first let’s talk about her being a nurse there in the Civil War. During the Civil War plenty of people will get hurt here your job was to fix them on the field. In opinion this right here was important because it shows that even though we didn’t have much respect back then they than she was still trying to show that but people could do the same as white people what I mean by that is there mostly white people were nurses at the time in here it was one of the few black nurses so she got plenty of recognition from this from her kind. And another thing during the back time mostly Black people were getting sent off to the war so it’s a good thing she was there because she was making sure our kind got some best possible treatment ever.

Let’s talk about her helping free slaves now which was one of the more important jobs because he can’t wait to risking her life. After her Harriet escape slavery she no longer wanted to see other people have that type of position so she started helping them escape throughout the night which at the time took a lot of planning and motivation and dedication so that the plan can goes as it supposed to. As I’m at shit in the previous sentence here you help them escape through the night she also needed help from people with more power so she became putting herself out there more as the name was so the other people could help her get away.  The underground railroad which she was responsible for. She was also very important during the civil right act movement because at the time she was alive and she was like helping us getting rid of slavery.

Not after reading all of that you tell me if you think she had a positive outcome in effect on the society. If Harriet and to do some of the things that she did we probably wouldn’t be having this discussion right now we probably won’t even have known about here yet things will totally be different from how it is today. Lots of people look up to Harriet because of the route she took and  the way she did things. She’s also very known for her bravery. Lots of women back then weren’t really brave like her; they didn’t have the bravery to do the things that she did. In my opinion Harriet is someone that you look up to or I should say that I looked up to growing up because of her bravery.
