Creation in the Bible is such a broad and open topic when talking about how exactly God Created the world. It’s so fascinating to see how and why God created us in the world. Every time you look over the topic of creation you’ll always find something new/or interesting. When I think of the creation of our world I like to think of the magnificent things that us humans still don’t understand, such as, “why do we have space?”, or, “why did God make certain parts in your body that we don’t even use?”, and we don’t have the answers to all of these different questions, but Genesis likes to show us how and why God made certain things. That is why creation is one of my favorite topics from the bible. God Creates the world in 7 days and I’m going to walk you through the process of how creation applies from then and now.

Genesis is the book of the Bible that is in the Old Testament. The book talks about the beginning of the world, how the earth is created and how sin enters the world. The first verse of the Bible, Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This is simply just stating the fact that God Created the earth and owns heaven. After this God starts his one week long Process on creating the world that in which we live in! That’s insane to think about how he made the world in a week, and we may have to wait several months to get our homes built. So on the first day God says in Genesis 1:3, “Let there be light”. After God said this there was light. On the second day, God makes land and water, Genesis 1:6-9. Each day of the week God performs a part in creating the world. Some examples of this would be God adding the fish in the sea, animals to the land, or adding Adam and Eve. The only day God doesn’t do anything is the seventh day of the week, also known as the sabbath/day of rest. God takes the seventh day of the week and uses it for rest, and that is why we take Sundays every week to go to our Churches. When God Created the earth along with that he Created Adam. When God Creates Adam the first male, God takes one rib from Adam and makes Eve with that rib. Starting at Genesis 2:4, it talks about Adam and Eve being created. In Genesis 3:1 it will tell you about the fall of mankind, also known as sin. God gives Adam and Eve the Garden of Eden which is filled with plenty of fruits, and vegetables. The deal was, there was only one tree they couldn’t eat from. However Eve is tempted by a serpent/Satan, and takes an apple and eats it from the wrong tree. Soon later Adam does the same and they are now living in sin. That’s how sin entered the world and how the world was created.

Now you may be asking, “how exactly does sin carry over to the new testament?”. It carries over because in Mark 15:21, Jesus is the one that has to pay for our mistakes. Jesus is crucified on the cross. Jesus was whipped, beaten, rocks were thrown at him on the cross by Roman soldiers and bystanders. Mary and Joseph were both devastated watching him suffer like this. When Jesus died, he paid for our sins. Three days later Jesus rose from the grave and that is why we celebrate Easter.

Later after all of these huge, climactic, events have passed, God still has a plan for our future which you can find in the book of Revelation. This book of the bible talks about what God’s plan is for our future and what’s going to happen. Revelation in a short term basically says, there will be a huge war on earth between God and Satan. It states that God will win and God will make a new heaven and a new earth for the followers of christ. This is why it is so important to understand what happened in the Bible and what is going to happen. Then, and only then, will we have all of our questions answered.

Without creation, absolutely nothing would exist but God. However, since God is so generous, he made mankind, and after all the terrible things that we do, God still loves us, whether you love him back or not. You should be so grateful for being who you are in every situation of your life, whether it’s in school, at home, etc, because not everyone is as lucky as you. I’ve been working at Extreme Laser Tag in Avon for almost 2 years now, and my boss was the sweetest guy. My boss's name was Nick, and he took me in at the age of fourteen years old for a position to work there. Then I realized that he didn’t show up to work one day, and he was always there. So I went to check on his family and they said he wasn’t doing so well, because he was sick in the hospital. His family didn’t keep me too up to date on what was going on with him and a few weeks later he died. I was super shocked and sad about what had happened. Nick was like another father but better than my own. I know the sad truth about his addictions and what he did while I was around, and it tears me up inside that I won't get to see him ever again. I think about him every day wishing I could’ve invited him to my church to make a change. You never know how valuable something is to you until you lose it. On the upper hand, I have quite the drive to bring close ones that I love and know to church after losing somebody close to me.

Thank you for understanding where I have come from, it truly means a lot to me. The reasons that I just listed, are the main reasons why I am so heavily invested in God’s word. I know that it’s not possible for me to change my past, however, I know that I am fully capable of changing other people's futures. That is Creation.
