Cells are the base of life. Without them we would not be alive. We have about 37.2 trillion cells that all work together to keep us functioning. All cells have a different job to keep us functioning. Cells are very interesting and they all have parts that keep them functioning, while they help us function. Cells are life, complex and Functional . 

Cells are life. First, cells provide the necessary things to help every living thing on the planet to be able to live. For example, “Chloroplast is an organelle found in plant cells that converts light energy into chemical energy.’’ (Organelle Collection, 1) . Chloroplast provides chemical energy for plant cells giving the plant cells what they need to live. Chloroplasts are helping the cell help the plant function. I think that since cells are providing what the organism needs to live, they are life .Next, Cells provide structure for the body of the organism. For example ’’The cytoskeleton gives the cell its shape and assists in movement’’ (Cells ,5). The cytoskeleton gives the cells its shape and assists with movement. This gives the cell the structure it needs to function correctly so it will be able to help the organism function as it should. Cells provide structure for organisms because they have orgaisms that allow the cell itself to function so then the cell does its specific job to help the organism function.Life is able to be lived because of cells. 

Cells are complex . To illustrate this cells are so microscopic that no one is able to see them but they are still functioning. For example ‘’ Although animal cells are microscopic, they are remarkably complex’’ (Animal cells,3). Cells are microscopic but they are still considered to be remarkably complex. That should give you an idea of how complex these little things are. Cells have all these organelles that make the cell as complex as it is. Cells are able to carry out all sorts of actions. For example ‘’ Plant cells are different from other eukaryotic cells because they make their own food’’ (Plant cells,1). Cells are like their own person. They can make their own food and function on their own. Organelles work together to provide energy for the cell and transport nutrients. Cells are complex because they are doing everything on their own. Complex is what cells are. 

Cells are functional . Primarily, Cells help all living things to function. For instance, ‘’Plant cells are the smallest functional parts of plants’’(Plant cells 1). I think that cells are super important in helping keep everything functioning. I believe that without cells nothing would function. As we can see cells and organelles help keep plants functioning. I think cells are the most important thing ever. Without them nothing would live or function. Secondly,Cells have organelles that help the cell itself function. Such as , ‘’ The Endoplasmic reticulum is a network of cavities and canals used to transport materials within a cell’’ (Organelle collection,3). I think that organelles are key to a cell's function. Without Organelles, cells would not be able to function properly because it would have to do everything on its own like make its own food , break down the nutrients it takes in. Organelles and cells are the key to every living thing's function. Functional is what cells are.
